About the Event
🖌️ Motif Description:
A bold, expressionist study of the female form on canvas: a faceless figure rendered in vibrant, painterly brushstrokes — yellow, orange, pink, red and teal — set against a calm aqua background. The pose is soft and self-contained; the colour is anything but. Modern, confident, very Frida-meets-Modigliani.
We start with the aqua background, lay in the silhouette and structure of the figure, then build the colour layer by layer with bold, loose strokes (no precision — that's the point). Lips and finishing details go last. All materials included: 30×40 canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, palette, apron. One welcome drink to start. Two hours, English-language workshop. No experience needed.
