About the Event
Halloween, but make it art. On the Saturday night of Halloween, sculpt a moody 3D texture piece with palette knives while a Halloween film plays silently on the big screen at the back of the studio. Two hours, a welcome drink, and nothing to get wrong.
What you'll make
A minimalist 3D relief on a large 40×50 cm canvas, with a Halloween twist: a full moon behind bare, twisting branches, in black, bone white and a touch of burnt orange. You build it up in heavy texture paste with palette knives, not brushes: ridges, valleys and soft repeating lines. It's slow, physical and oddly meditative, and the result is a statement piece that works on your wall long after October.
