About the Event
The Motif Description
A field of lavender on canvas: tall purple-tipped spikes rising out of fresh green grass, layered against a soft pink-and-lavender washed sky. Loose, painterly, impressionistic — heavy on texture, light on precision.
We start with the soft watercolor-style background (pinks blending into lavender), build the dark base where the stems grow, layer the green grass with quick upward strokes, and finish with the lavender heads — dabbed and dotted in deep purple, tipped with lighter highlights for that sun-on-flower glow. All materials included: 30×40 canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, palette, apron. One welcome drink to start. Two hours, English-language workshop. No experience needed.
