Our "Amsterdam Spring" motif is a charming tribute to the arrival of spring, designed specifically for those who want to try something a little different with their brushwork. Featuring a vintage bicycle and a basket of soft white blossoms, this painting plays with a "weathered" look that is incredibly forgiving for beginners.
We will show you how to use a palette knife and standard acrylics to build simple, raised layers that give your flowers a lovely 3D effect. Against a textured blue-and-gold background, these white petals create a bright, cheerful contrast. This session is all about the joy of "playing" with paint—there’s no need for perfect lines or tiny details. It’s about big movements, tactile layers, and creating a piece that feels handcrafted and soulful.
