Sculpt. Glow. Transform - under the Sturgeon Moon.
On Friday 28 August, the Netherlands gets one of the most spectacular celestial events of 2026: the Sturgeon Moon — a full moon that arrives with a partial lunar eclipse visible across the country.
We're marking the moment the only way we know how — by sculpting one of our own. Join us at ARTparty Space for a special Sturgeon Moon edition of our most immersive workshop.
The Cosmic Timing
The Sturgeon Moon peaks at 00:19 CEST on Friday 28 August, with the partial eclipse beginning late evening on the 27th and visible across Dutch skies through the small hours of the 28th. Our workshop runs from 18:30 to 20:30 on Friday evening — meaning you'll be carving your own moon while the real one rises outside, ready to take centre stage in the sky a few hours later.
