Some evenings you want to talk. Some evenings you want to sit in a warm room with your hands busy and let someone else fill the silence.

Movie Night is the second kind. The curtains come down, the candles go on, and a film plays quietly across the big canvas at the back of the studio — no sound, just light moving on the wall while you work. Our artist talks you through the piece; the film gets on with itself.

You'll build a minimalist relief in high-density texture paste, working with palette knives rather than brushes — ridges, valleys, soft repeating lines. It's slow, physical and oddly meditative, and it's the kind of thing your hands learn faster than your head does. Wine in reach, no experience needed, nothing to get wrong.
