About the Event
The Motif Description
A Scandinavian midsummer portrait on canvas: a girl with a flower crown of wildflowers and greenery resting on her head — soft skin tones, loose hair, daisies and lavender woven through the wreath. Calm, summery, a little bit of folk-art magic.
We start with the background, lay in the silhouette and base skin tones, build the hair, and finish with the flower crown — petals and leaves in loose dabs and small strokes. The wreath gets the most detail (and the most fun). All materials included: 30×40 canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, palette, apron. One welcome drink to start. Two hours, English-language workshop. No experience needed.
