Why Teams Choose ARTparty for Their End-of-Year Event

Every December the same question lands on someone's desk: what are we doing with the team this year? A dinner is easy to book and easy to forget. A quiz works for the five people who like quizzes. We have spent the last few years running workshops for more than 75 companies, from Booking.com and Adyen to Uber, Deloitte and ASICS, and the reasons they book us are more practical than you might expect.
This is what you actually get, what it costs, and when we are honestly not the right choice.
Everyone takes part, not only the loud ones
Most team events quietly rely on a few extroverts to carry the room. A workshop does not. Everyone has their own canvas, lump of clay or lamp in front of them, and an artist walks the whole group through it step by step. The manager is at the same starting point as the intern.
It is also the rare format where "I can't draw" is not a problem. That is the usual starting point in every session we run, and the motifs are chosen so that everyone finishes something they are pleased with. The talking happens on its own, because it is easier to chat when your hands are busy.
One price, one invoice, nothing to organise
You pay a price per person that covers the professional artist, every material, aprons, table covers, set-up and clean-up. You send one calendar invite; we do everything else.
Prices are per person excluding 21% VAT, and your invoice shows VAT separately.
The headcount can go down until three days before, and we refund the difference.
If your finance team can only pay afterwards, we invoice the final headcount instead. The booking is confirmed by email, not by payment.
Cancelling more than 14 days before is free.

Three ways to host it
At our studio. A 70-person room on the fourth floor of the World Fashion Centre in Amsterdam, a short walk from Lelylaan station. No room rent, a welcome drink per person included, and snacks or unlimited drinks available as add-ons.
At a partner venue. If you want dinner or drinks as part of the evening, we run the workshop at venues with a kitchen: Kanarie Club, Vessel, DB55 and Enter at WFC in Amsterdam, Foodhallen in Rotterdam and O'Casey's in Den Haag. Food and drinks are billed by the venue.
At your office. We turn your canteen or meeting room into a studio for the afternoon. Delivery and set-up is €100 in Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Den Haag.
Something they keep
A dinner is gone by January. A painting, a 3D texture canvas or a moon lamp ends up on a desk or a shelf at home, and people remember where it came from. For larger teams, our collaborative mural goes one step further: everyone paints one panel, and the panels join into a single artwork for the office wall.
We can also design the motif around your company: your logo, your city, your colours or your year. It normally costs €300; booked before 31 October it is €150.

The five workshops and what they cost
Festive Sip & Paint, €39.50 p.p.: a winter scene on a 30×40 cm canvas, step by step.
Winter Air Clay, €44 p.p.: tealight holders, trays or ornaments in air-dry clay. Calm and tactile.
3D Texture Art Atelier, €49 p.p.: a gallery-style 3D relief in texture paste, sculpted with palette knives. Our most elegant table.
Moon Lamp · Winter Glow, €54 p.p.: sculpt the moon's surface onto a real lamp, then switch them all on together.
Collaborative Mural, €59 p.p.: one shared artwork for the office.
All prices exclude VAT, run about two hours, and have a minimum of 10 guests. Smaller groups of 6 to 9 book a private session at the 10-person price.
When we are not the right choice
If your team wants something physical and competitive, karting or a padel tournament will suit them better. If the dinner is the main event and you want everyone seated for three courses, book the restaurant first and add a workshop before it at one of our partner venues. And if your group is well over 100 people, talk to us early: it is possible at your office or a large venue, but it needs planning.
How to book
Pick a package and a rough date on teams.artparties.nl. The calculator gives you an indication in 30 seconds, and we hold the date for seven days while you check with your team. December Thursdays and Fridays go first, usually in October.
